BAKED HAM AND CHEESE PRETZEL SANDWICHES – October 5 – National Pretzel Month

Ingredients:

  • 8 slices of Ham
  • 4 slices of  Provolone cheese
  • Dijon mustard
  • Sliced onion (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • Garlic powder
  • Aluminum foil

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Slice buns in half.  Spread dijon mustard on top and bottom of each bun then layer bottom bun with 2 slices of ham, 1 slice of provolone cheese, and onion, if using.  Place each sandwich on their own piece of foil.  Brush the top of the bun with butter and sprinkle with garlic powder.  Close foil and place on baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes.
