Vegan Pie Crust
This is a vegan adaptation of my Grandma’s Pie Crust.

Ingredients
- 2 and 1/4 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 cups solid Coconut oil
- 2 tablespoons vinegar, lemon juice, or vodka
- 1-2 tablespoons cold water (as needed)
Instructions
- Place 2 cups flour, salt, and sugar in a bowl and mix well. In another bowl, mix the remaining ingredients. Combine both mixtures adding the remaining flour or water as needed.
- Transfer half of the dough to a floured surface. Roll out to about 1/8″ thick. Place in a glass pie pan.
- Repeat with the other half of the dough, or put in an airtight container and refrigerate.
- If baking on its own, preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and bake, about 30 minutes until browned.
