This is a family Christmas Tradition.
NOTE: In our family, this is also called “Cup of everything”

- 1 cup ground carrots
- 1 cup ground potatoes
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup ground apples (optional)
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup nuts
- 2 cups raisins
- ½ cup butter
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon

- Mix all ingredients together. Place in a tin pan. Cover with aluminum foil and place in a pan with 2 inches of water.
- Place the pan on the stove and turn on high. Once the water starts to boil turn to low and cook for 2 and a half hours to 3 and a half hours. Until the mixture is “set” in the center. Cool and serve with whipping cream and/or lemon syrup, recipe here.
