CHICKEN SALAD SANDWICH – December 1 – National Eat a Red Apple Day
This is a simple and easy recipe. You can change out any ingredient that you want. A great way to celebrate National Eat a Red Apple Day.

Ingredients
- 1 – 1 ½ cups cooked chicken (or you could use your leftover turkey)
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- ¼ – ½ red onion, diced
- 1 red apple, cored and chopped
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- ¼ cup ranch dressing
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- 8 slices of bread
Instructions
- In a bowl mix all of the ingredients together. If needed add some additional mayonnaise and/or spices.
- Lightly toast the bread then spread 1/4 of the mixture on a slice then serve.
