AUNT MAREA’S CRANBERRY SALAD – November 23 – National Eat a Cranberry Day

This is my Aunt Marea’s Cranberry Salad recipe.  She has made this for years and years!

NOTE: I am posting it on the 22nd because it needs to sit overnight.  National Eat A Cranberry Day is November 23rd.

Ingredients

  • 1 package cranberries
  • 1 ½ cup sugar
  • ½ pound marshmallows
  • ½ pound grapes, cut in half
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • nuts

Instructions

  1. Grind the cranberries and add to the sugar.  Let the mixture stand overnight
  2. Next day add the marshmallows, cut grapes, and whipped cream.  Fold in and add nuts
