Ingredients

  1. 3 ripe avocados
  2. 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro or parsley, chopped
  3. ¼ – 1 jalapeno chile, seeded and minced (depends on taste)
  4. ¼ cup white onion, chopped
  5. 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  6. 2 garlic cloves, minced
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Black pepper to taste
  9. ½ teaspoon ground cumin

 

Instructions

  1. Halve the avocados, remove the pit and scoop the flesh into a medium bowl.  Using a fork, mash until it is almost smooth. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.

Notes

 

NOTE: You can store the guacamole for a day or two in the refrigerator.  Place one avocado pit in the guacamole and cover with plastic wrap, pressing the wrap directly onto the guacamole.  Remove the pit and stir before serving.
