CHICKEN SALAD SANDWICH – December 1 – National Eat a Red Apple Day

Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 1 – 1 ½ cups cooked chicken (or you could use your leftover turkey)
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • ¼ – ½ red onion, diced
  • 1 red apple, cored and chopped
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup ranch dressing
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • 8 slices of bread

Instructions

  1. and pepper.  If needed add some additional mayonnaise and/or spices.
  2. Lightly toast the bread and then serve.
